  31. Installation Guide
  32. ------------------
  33.   1. Start OS/2.
  34.   2. Insert the ThinkPad Audio Features Diskette for OS/2 into the
  35.      diskette drive.
  36.   3. Open the OS/2 command prompt and type MINSTALL.  Then
  37.      press Enter.
  38.   4. Select A: for the source drive.
  39.   5. Select Crystal Audio and IBM OPL3 FM MIDI Synthesis
  40.      from the list.  A check mark appears next to the selected items.
  41.   6. Click on Install; then follow the instructions on the screen.
  42.   7. After the installation has completed successfully, restart the
  43.      computer.

  45. Note:
  46.   Make sure that Multimedia Software Support was selected in the
  47.   OS/2 Setup and Installation windows when OS/2 was installed.
  48.   Also make sure that any audio hardware was not selected when OS/2
  49.   was installed; otherwise, OS/2 might detect the SoundBlaster Pro
  50.   as audio hardware and install the wrong software on your
  51.   hard disk drive.

  53.   If error messages appear when you restart OS/2, uninstall the
  54.   multimedia software by using the Selective Uninstall program. If
  55.   you are reinstalling the multimedia software supported by the
  56.   Selective Install program, remove the SoundBlaster Pro from
  57.   Multimedia Device Support in the system configuration window.
