  1. Using Logitech Mice with OS/2 (version 1.2)
  2.  
  3. All Logitech Mice work with the IBM OS/2 mouse drivers. Proper installation 
  4. for the various types of mice is as follows:

  6. Series 9 Serial Mouse, Series 7 Serial Mouse:

  8.     Select "Mouse Systems Mouse" during OS/2 installation.

  10.     Note:  When using the Series 9 Serial Mouse or Series 7 Serial 
  11.                Mouse, be sure to "cold boot" (power the system off and back
  12.                on) when running OS/2, or issue the command MOUSE PC from the
  13.                DOS prompt if booting from DOS to OS/2.

  16. MouseMan Serial Mouse, Dexxa Serial Mouse:

  18.     Select "Microsoft Serial Mouse" during OS/2 installation.

  21. All Bus Mice:

  23.     Select "Microsoft Mouse, Bus Version - Model 199" during OS/2 
  24.         installation.

  29.     Install as IBM PS/2 Mouse during OS/2 installation.

  32. Mouse-based software under the OS/2 Compatibility Box:

  34. All of the software mentioned below can only be run in the DOS Compatibility
  35. Box (also known as Real Mode). 
  36.  
  37. The DOS driver can only be run if the OS/2 driver is not loaded.  The DOS 
  38. driver should function properly in the Compatibility Box.  DOS applications 
  39. that support a mouse should work properly in the compatibility box with the 
  40. OS/2 driver.

  42. If an application is not working properly with the mouse under the 
  43. compatibility box, try running the application from DOS using the DOS mouse 
  44. driver. System intensive applications may not function properly in the OS/2 
  45. DOS Compatibility Box.
