  1. README for TRX.EXE

  4. Basics:
  5. -------
  6. TRX.EXE is a program for controlling Receiver/Transceiver over a port
  7. (this could be either a serial port, CAT-port or parallel port(future),
  8. because it is defined in the driver).
  9. The communication with the device is done via driver-DLLs.
  10. At the moment there are drivers for JRC NRD535 and YAESU FT990 available.
  11. More DLLs are at work (for Kenwood, Yaesu, ICOM, ...).
  12. They will be available in one or two months.
  13. I would be very happy if you - the user - could help me in programming these
  14. drivers. It is easy for you because I only need the documentation how to
  15. access the receiver/transceiver over the port - THANKS!

  17. Using:

  19. The startup looks like the follwing:
  20.  
  21.                         TRX driver-DLL COM-Port
  22.  
  23. driver-DLL:  Name of the driver-DLL WITHOUT the extension .DLL!
  24. COM-Port:    Number of the serial port
  25.              (also 1 for COM 1, 2 for COM 2, ...).
  26.                             
  27. Example:     TRX TRX_NRD 1
  28.              Driver for JRC NRD 535 at COM-Port 1
