  6.     SecureCom is a small and fast personal communication 
  7. tool.  It is designed to hook two people  up directly 
  8. (without using the IRC channels, servers, IP servers, etc.) for 
  9. a one-on-one  personal text mode chat.
  10.  
  11.     SecureCom utilizes two "Hailing features" to accomplish this.  
  12. One Hailing feature uses a built in seamless e-mail facility to send 
  13. your current IP address to another SecureCom user in a specially 
  14. coded e-mail letter.  The other user (who is checked into the 
  15. net and has SecureCom running in Monitor ON mode) will receive the 
  16. message and prompt him to connect or not connect.

  18.     The other Hailing feature utilizes the use of an internal TCP/IP
  19. server that listens on a preassigned port for direct connection
  20. requests.  One SecureCom user can Hail another user via the 
  21. Internet and/or a Lan directly by just knowing their IP address.   It
  22. sends the Hail (connection request) directly to the IP address and
  23. is handled by SecureCom's internal server that prompts the user to
  24. accept or decline the connection.

  26.     Either of these Hailing methods can be used independently of
  27. one another.

  29.     One button Hailing makes it a simple and painless way to connect
  30. on the Internet or the local network..

  32.     No other servers, e-mail or support software are needed.

  34.     OS/2 version requires Warp 3.x or Warp 4.x with TCP/IP installed 
  35. (or the Warp 3.0 iak TCP/IP lite) and an internet connection with a 
  36. mail account.

  38.     Windows 95/NT version requires Windows 95 or Windows NT with 
  39. TCP/IP installed and an internet connection with a mail account.
