  4. The main window consists of five major views: 
  5.  
  6. The title bar 
  7.     contains name, size and last write date of the file, currently selected in 
  8.     the file listbox. 
  9.

  11. The file listbox 
  12.     is used to show the contents of the current directory as well as directory 
  13.     names. Directory names are always displayed in alphabetical order. For 
  14.     ordinary files, you can set the sort order in the options menu. It is also 
  15.     possible to specify a file selection mask using the Filter Dialog. When 
  16.     clicking the right mouse button, a popup menu similar to the file menu will 
  17.     appear.

  20. The subjects line 
  21.     is used to show the .SUBJECTS extended attribute. It represents the short 
  22.     format catalog entry of the current file.

  25. The history and keywords line 
  26.     is used to show the .HISTORY and .KEYWORDS the extended attributes. This 
  27.     line lets you review when and from which forum the current file was 
  28.     downloaded. You 'll also see, which keywords are assigned to this file.

  31. The comments window 
  32.     is used to show a brief description of the current file. This is the same 
  33.     text you 'll find in the long format catalog entry of this file. It is 
  34.     taken from the .COMMENTS extented attribute.

  41. This programm was intended to use with the Golden CommPass CIS offline reader. 
  42. The CommPass is able to store additional information about downloaded files in 
  43. OS/2's extended attributes. Since I couldn't find a browser for those 
  44. information, I wrote one.

  46. To use it, you should create an program object, preferable in the CommPass 
  47. folder, and set it's working directory to your download path. Please make sure, 
  48. that the Save download description in EA option in the CommPass settings 
  49. notebook, page Catalogs, is enabled.
