  1. This is a short little REXX program to turn on the undocumented 
  2. and unsupported Auto-pilot feature of OS2CIM.
  3.  
  4. Auto-pilot allows you to semi-automate OS2CIM sessions.  After enabling
  5. this feature, whenever you are about to download something, you
  6. will see a new checkbox "Mark for later retrieval".  Check this box.
  7. Repeat for anything else you wish to download.  When everything is checked,
  8. disconnect from Compuserve and quit OS2CIM.  
  9.  
  10. Rerun OS2CIM -- Choose Special -> Auto Pilot ... from the menu.
  11. Click on Interactively Marked Items and Click on Begin.
  12. OS2CIM will dial Compuserve for you and retrieve those items.

  14. You can also set it up to retrieve messages and other things, but
  15. I'll leave those up to you.

  17. Remember this feature is unsupported by Compuserve, but thing again
  18. OS2CIM has been orphaned anyways. :(

  20. Attention GCP users:  This is still useful to you to grab things that
  21. are located only in special download areas like WARPFIX or NSD.

  23. Installation instructions:

  25.   a) CD to the directory where you extracted this zip file.
  26.   b) Type APILOT (and press return)
  27.   c) If prompted, type in the full path name where os2-cim.ini is located 
  28.          (defaults to C:\cserve\os2-cim\os2-cim.ini)
  29.   d) Thats it.  You shouldn't ever have to run this program again.
