This is a general overview of the install procedure to get AMR running.
Error messages that might occur are:
The destination you specified is not valid. Please verify drive and directory.
Then start again.

Select the desired topic. Double click it to reveal the related information.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 2.1. Description of the application keys ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
You do not need a mouse to use this program. Use the Tab and ENTER keys to
select an item, or press Escape to go a level back.

You have selected the Help For Help default action.
This program install an application from AURA from the unpacking directory to
the specified directory.
It is compatible with OS/2 version 1.2 thru 2.1

This option is a part of the guide you have opened. It is not a part of the
Install program.

This option provides you with an index of available keywords.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 3. Revision History ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
Release 1.0с:
This initial release does only a basic job of installing an AURA application to
the specified drive and directory.
Future version will also include an uninstall facility and more sofisticated
management of objects and .INI files.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 4. List of installed files ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The install procedure copies the following files to the specified directory:
AMR.EXE The main application file. This is the QWK mail reader for OS/2 PM
with database and DDE facilities.
AMR.HLP The corresponding help file for the AURA Mail Reader.
AURA.DLL This support file contains general support for all our applications.
This file should be located anywhere on the LIBPATH specification in
CONFIG.SYS
Tag.AMR An ascii file, containing a collection of (infamous) quotes.
Reply.AMR An ascii file, containing a sample template of a reply to a message.
Message.AMR An ascii file, containing a sample template for a message you
intend to write.
Info.AMR Another template, containing a template of the BBS info list.
Export.AMR Template used for exporting a message to the hold file Export.ASC.
Import.AMR Template used for editing messages and replies with an external
editor.
ReadMe.TXT File containing last minute release notes.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 5. List of files ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
This list of files should be in your directory after unpacking the files.
Note the difference between INSTALLED files, because the install procedure will
not copy itself and several other files.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 6. Destination directory ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
Enter the full specification for the directory to install the AMR to.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 7. Popup Notes ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
This popup window occurrs under any of the following conditions.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 8. Verify Help ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
Under some conditions a verification of an action is asked for.
If you are installing to a diskette that is write-protected, you are prompted
to examine media etc.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 9. Progress Help ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
During the copying of files (a separate process) you are shown with a dialog
window that shows you the current activity.
At the bottom of the progress window a bar is drawn. This is a good indicator
of the copy process itself.
