  3. An AVIO telecomm program for OS/2 Presentation Manager.

  5. MYCOMM is My very own little PM COMM program which I wrote in one
  6. very hectic week in the Spring of 1990.  It features:
  7.  
  8. Pretty complete VT-100 emulation
  9. ASCII file transfers (text capture / regurgitation)
  10. PM Clipboard interface
  11. multi-thread comm driver with a 32K buffer
  12. PM menus, dialogs, etc.
  13. and automatic profile save / restore.
  14.  
  15. It does NOT have:
  16.  
  17. Binary file transfers, such as XMODEM or KERMIT
  18. any dialing facilities
  19. scripts
  20. Tektronix Graphics
  21. Network Support (other than for files)
  22.  
  23. It _could_ grow these things very easily, which is part of why I'm
  24. putting it up here (I have code for all of the above left over from
  25. earlier projects).  What do _YOU_ think?  Is it worth upgrading this
  26. thing to a full-blown Presentation Manager comm program?  What features
  27. would make it a worthy competitor in the OS/2 - PM comm sweepstakes.  If
  28. it had these features, how much would you pay for it?  Should it be
  29. shareware, or a real product, or am I wasting my time?

  31. Well, THIS version is completely free - please distribute as widely
  32. as possible, just see that this file goes with it.

  37. through the menus - it's pretty obvious
