  1. This routine will turn on or off the Hardware buffering capabilities of 
  2. NS16550-A UARTS when running with OS/2 1.2.  To use the program just 
  3. invoke it as shown below:

  5. hdwbuff COM1 ON
  6. or
  7. hdwbuff COM2 OFF
  8.  
  9. The first param is the com port to use.  The second param is the operation
  10. to do. ( ON, or OFF ).  
  11.  
  12. This program must be invoked from OS/2 before you invoke the DOS mode serial
