  1.   What Is ATELL?
  2.  
  3.   ATELL is a sample program that allows a workstation user to send a message to
  4.   another workstation.  ATELL is written in the C language and uses the IBM SAA
  5.   Common Programming Interface for Communications (CPI-C).
  6.  
  7.   ATELL is made up of two transaction programs; ATELL, which runs on the client
  8.   side, and ATELLD, which runs on the server side.

  10.   This distribution file for version 2.34 contains:

  12.   ATELL.EXE  - Client program
  13.   ATELLD.EXE - Server program
  14.     Both .EXE files are compiled as Family mode executables (run in both
  15.     OS/2 and DOS).  Extended Services (or Networking Services/2) is required
  16.     on OS/2 and Networking Services/DOS is required for DOS.

  18.   Source has not been included with this distribution of APING.  If you are
  19.   interested in obtaining the source code, it is available on CompuServe
  20.   in the APPC forum (GO APPC, see Samples library) or from the author.
