  11.                 VBBS' Voting Booth allows you to present your users with
  12.          a perpetual survey in which they can "vote" on particular issues
  13.          you define.  Frequently-asked questions deal with political can-
  14.          didates, which online games should be registered/discontinued,
  15.          reasons for calling the BBS, how users first heard of your BBS,
  16.          how they like changes you've made, etc.

  18.                 When you select this option from the VCONFIG Main Menu,
  19.          you will see a scrolling window containing the questions them-
  20.          selves.  To select a question for editing, move the highlight
  21.          bar to the correct entry and press [Enter].  The question and
  22.          its responses will then be available for editing.
  23.                 To add a new voting question, press [F1] at the scrolling-
  24.          window screen.  You may then type in a question and supply up to 
  25.          eight responses from which your users may choose.
  26.                 The poll results are displayed as the number of users
  27.          choosing a particular answer, along with the percentage of the
  28.          total number of votes each choice received.

  30.                 In the default START.V, if new questions exist, when a
  31.          user logs on, she is given the opportunity to vote.  If the user
  32.          is up to date with the survey, the voting questions are ignored.
  33.          You may use option [D] from Screen Three of the MAIN configura-
  34.          tion to disable this automatic checking if you wish (see p. 15
  35.          for details).

  37.                 There are several VSCRIPT-based voting programs avail-
  38.          able, any of which may be used in lieu of the default voting 
  39.          procedures.
