  11.                 Text files from within various directories on your system
  12.          may be configured here for display.  Types of text files commonly
  13.          configured here include (but are not limited to):
  14.  
  15.                 ∙  game scoreboards
  16.                 ∙  general information about your BBS
  17.                 ∙  standard operating procedures / rules for your BBS
  18.                 ∙  information about viruses
  19.                 ∙  rules of "netiquette"
  20.  
  21.          and so on.
  22.                 To add a new entry to the text section configuration,
  23.          press [F1] at the scrolling-window screen.  You will be prompted
  24.          for the following information:

  26.          1) Name
  27.             ════
  28.                 The name of the text section, as it will appear to the
  29.                 user.
  30.  
  31.          2) Path
  32.             ════
  33.                 The full pathname to the directory in which the text
  34.                 file(s) is located.
  35.  
  36.          3) Security Level
  37.             ══════════════
  38.                 The MSL needed to access this particular text section.

  40.          4) Access Flag
  41.             ═══════════
  42.                 The access flag needed to access this particular section
  43.                 (please see "The User Editor" for more on access flags).

  45.          To edit an entry, move the highlight bar to the desired entry
  46.          and press [Enter].  You will have a chance to edit the above
  47.          information.
  48.                 In VCONFIG, you can define any directory on your system as
  49.          containing text for a defined subject area.  Text directories may
  50.          be networked by using a script maintaining a database for text
  51.          files.

  53.          TIP ─────>    It might be wise to keep these text files fairly
  54.                        short since they are read on-lie.  Longer text files
  55.                        may be zipped up and made available for download.
