  11.         VBBS features an optional "random messages" function that
  12.      can display one-, two-, or three-line messages right before the
  13.      user initially sees the Main Menu.  Random messages are commonly
  14.      used for quips and quotes or friendly advertisements for other
  15.      BBSes in the area; you may, of course, use them for whatever pur-
  16.      pose you wish (or not use them at all, if you so desire).
  17.         To add a random message, press [F1] at the scrolling-
  18.      window initial screen and type in your message.  DO NOT press
  19.      [Enter], as that will delete the currently-highlighted random
  20.      message.
  21.         Random messages are displayed by including the RANDOM com-
  22.      mand from anywhere within a VSCRIPT or function block.
