DISCLAIMER
==========
Squalid is supplied on an "as-is" basis only. The copyright holders
disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including, without
limitation, the warranties of mechantability and of fitness for any
purpose. The copyright holders assume no liability for damages, direct
or consequential, which may result from the use of this product.
REGISTRATION
============
Squalid is being distributed under the "freeware" concept, and is
provided at no charge to the end-user on the condition that the package
is provided complete and unaltered, just as you received it. You must
not give it away as part of another package or system - software,
hardware or otherwise.
The essence of "user-supported" software is to provide personal
computer users with quality software without the high prices, and yet
provide incentive for programmers to continue to develop new products
and improve existing ones.
If you find this program useful and you are using Squalid and continue
to use it after a reasonable trial period, you should probably consider
registering it. There is a registration form included in REGISTER.DOC
Commercial users of Squalid must register and take steps to pay for
their copies of Squalid within 21 days of first use or this license is
automatically revoked.
Anyone distributing Squalid for any kind of remuneration must first
contact the copyright holders at the address below for authorisation.
This specifically excludes distribution via "pay" BBS systems which
simply charge a general access fee to users, or distribution on CDROM
for the purposes of placing it on a BBS system for public download.
This does, however, apply to distributors who bundle shareware products
and sell them on diskette or other media; distribution in this manner
is prohibited without written consent of the authors.
