The most dazzling advantage of metamorphs is that they can assume the form (and abilities!) of any known species in the universe! Shortage of ore? Turn into a Rubblemuncher! Out of energy? Become a Photovore! The main disadvantage of Metamorphs is that changing forms is very taxing. When you assume a new form, be prepared to hole up in a cocoon for a couple months and compose bad poetry.
