  2.                          HELP FOR VIEW COMMANDS
  3.  
  4. The Bulletron View commands allow you to view special aspects of files
  5. without actually downloading them.  The available options are:
  6.

  14.      ║   <K>  KILL process (return to main system prompt)     ║

  16.      ║   * DO NOT attempt to use this option unless you are   ║
  17.      ║     absolutely certain that your terminal program is   ║
  18.      ║     capable of displaying .GIFs without writing them   ║
  19.      ║     to a disk file.                                    ║

  23. Here is what these commands do for you:
  24.  
  25.    "VA"
  26.  
  27. Viewing an ASCII file is essentially the same thing as downloading it
  28. using the ASCII file transfer protocol.  It is a little more efficient,
  29. though, because it assumes that the default file name extension is
  30. ".TXT", and does not compute transfer efficiency at the end of the
  31. transfer.
  32.  
  33.    "VG"
  34.  
  35. This command sends a ".GIF" file at you as though it were an ASCII file.
  36. If your communications program is smart enough to recognize the GIF
  37. header and switch to graphics mode, then a photograph-like picture will
  38. appear on your screen.  If your program is not capable of displaying
  39. GIFs, then you will see a lot of nonsense characters.  Type CONTROL-K to
  40. abort the transfer.

  42.    "VZ"
  43.  
  44. This command will show you the contents of a ".ZIP" file, as if you had
  45. downloaded the file and executed "PKUNZIP -V" on it.

  47.    "VH"
  48.
