  4. │ This message is displayed to novice users each time that they select │
  5. │ the "SYS" (System Information) sub-board.  You can make a sub-board  │
  6. │ introduction message for any sub-board that you define, by posting a │
  7. │ message to pseudo-account "BINTxxx", where "xxx" is the sub-board    │
  8. │ abbreviation, on your "Utilities" sub-board.  As users become more   │
  9. │ experienced with the BBS, they discover how to use the "N5" command  │
  10. │ to disable sub-board introduction messages.                          │
  11. │                                                                      │
  12. │ In this demo, the purpose of the "SYS" sub-board is to hold and      │
  13. │ display public notices about the BBS from the system operator.  It   │
  14. │ has a read-only attribute assigned so that only the system operator  │
  15. │ can post messages on it.  It is the first sub-board, selected by     │
  16. │ default, when a user logs on.  Its automatic message summary is set  │
  17. │ to display the titles of all messages present each time that it is   │
  18. │ selected.  It is also set up with an order-entry feature that allows │
  19. │ users to purchase subscriptions to the BBS.                          │

  21. │ All "BINTxxx" messages are optional;  you can disable this feature   │
  22. │ for any sub-board by simply deleting its "BINTxxx" message.  The     │
  23. │ pseudo-account for the ANSI version of this message is "ABINTxxx".   │
  24. │ The pseudo-account for the RIP version of this message is            │
  25. │ "RBINTxxx".                                                          │
