  4. In October 1993, Microcom broke the price barrier with a new
  5. generation of high speed modems - The DeskPorte FAST and
  6. TravelPorte FAST.  These modems offer fully featured,
  7. corporate quality V.fast at the incredibly low price of
  8. $499.  We are pleased to make these modems available to
  9. Bulletin Board System Operators at an unbelievable $289!
  10.

  29. In order to participate in this special program, you must
  30. currently be operating or will start a Bulletin Board System
  31. within the next 3 months.  Buyers must sign the attached
  32. order form as acknowledgment and acceptance of the BBS SYSOP
  33. terms outlined below.  If you are prepaying your order or
  34. using a credit card, please enclose or fax this agreement
  35. and order form with your payment.

  37. TERMS:
  38.  
  39. 1. The bulletin board system operator purchasing products 
  40.    under this program (the "Buyer") hereby warrants and
  41.    represents that he/she is currently operating a bulletin
  42.    board system or will be operating a bulletin board system
  43.    within the next 3 months, and that the product(s) are
  44.    being purchased for the Buyer's own use in operating this
  45.    system and not for resale.

  47. 2. The buyer understands and agrees that the number of 
  48.    Microcom products purchased under this program is 
  49.    limited to the number of working lines connected to the
  50.    Buyer's bulletin board system.  Products purchased must
  51.    be used with the data line numbers listed on the 
  52.    attached orderform.  Should these numbers change, the 
  53.    Buyer agrees to promptly notify Microcom.

  61. 3. The Buyer agrees to post an appropriate notice visible at
  62.    the start of log-on to the bulletin board states that the
  63.    system is using a Microcom V.fast modem(s).
  64.  
  65. 4. The Buyer intends to continue operation of the bulletin
  66.    board system for at least six (6) months from the date of
  67.    this order.
  68.  
  69. 5. PREPAYS: The Buyer understands that no product will be
  70.    shipped until the attached order form and questionnaire
  71.    have been completed and returned to Microcom and personal
  72.    or company checks have been cleared through our bank.
  73.    Microcom will also accept credit card payments.  The
  74.    Buyer understands that orders placed by the attached
  75.    order form cannot be changed after the order has been
