  1. Here are the known problems in the first wide beta of Doors/2:

  3. 1. The messaging system does not currently support the convention, used
  4.    by Wildcat! 4.00 and some other recent software, of identifying a
  5.    local node as node 0.  Nodes numbered below 1 cause an error message.
  6.  
  7. 2. Running with DOOR.SYS on Maximus-style systems (systems that place a
  8.    handle in the dropfile) seems to be causing problems.  For the time
  9.    being, DORINFO1.DEF is recommended for those systems.  This problem
  10.    has endured through two releases of Iron Ox/2 because so few sysops
  11.    use DOOR.SYS with Maximus. <g>

  13. 3. Because the library currently relies on the OS/2 system call
  14.    DosExit(1, errorlevel) to shut down its threads, exit can sometimes
  15.    be very slow on a heavily loaded system.  Better exit procedures are
  16.    planned for wide beta 2.
