  2.         There have been some big changes to cPoint since v2.17 ....
  3.  
  4.         So many that v2.19 got skipped because I ran out of internal
  5.         version designations while extensive alpha and beta testing
  6.         was being carried out.

  9.         Some reasons why you may not want to upgrade to v2.20 ....
  10.  
  11.       - The Hudson Message Base is no longer used.  This means that if
  12.         you are used to using TimEd or GoldEd as your reader you will
  13.         no longer be able to do so.
  14.  
  15.       - The Janus protocol has been removed.  An external protocol
  16.         driver can now be defined and I am working on a Janus driver
  17.         that will be suitable for use as an external driver.  Until
  18.         that is done there is no longer any Janus support in cPoint.
  19.  
  20.       - The data entry code is completely new.  The addition of mouse
  21.         support and the new dialogue entry boxes has altered the
  22.         (perhaps mindless) earlier data entry code.
  23.  
  24.       - Executables use slightly more disk space.
  25.  
  26.  
  27.         On the other side the external protocol driver gives cPoint
  28.         much more flexibility.  The cPMsg message base system is
  29.         self-maintaining.  The message files will grow only so far
  30.         and then space from deleted messages will be re-used and
  31.         require less maintenance by the user.
