The primary documentation for this software is provided in the form of
an OS/2 Warp Information Presentation Facility (INF) file. This README
file describes how to access the primary documentation for users of:
OS/2 Warp, PC-DOS, MS-DOS, and MS-Windows.

║ Please note our operating system recommendations: ║
╚═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝
If you do not have OS/2 Warp, we strongly recommend that you invest
in a copy. OS/2 Warp is simply the best software value ever. In fact,
if you were forced to choose between purchasing a copy of OS/2 Warp and
registering a copy of this software, we would prefer that you spend
your money with IBM rather than with us (at least initially)! Please
do yourself a favor and invest in a copy of OS/2 Warp.
If you are forced to use a version of DOS on your computer, we recommend
IBM PC-DOS v7.0. In addition to offering several benefits not present
in MicroSoft's MS-DOS, IBM's PC-DOS also provides a graphical INF viewer,
which will allow you to view the primary documentation for this software
and the thousands of other important documents that have been published
in the INF format.
IBM OS/2 Warp and PC-DOS v7.0 are available for under $90 and $60,
respectively, at most retail stores. You can also call IBM Direct at
1-800-3IBM-OS2 for more information or to place an order.

║ Instructions for viewing the primary documentation: ║
╚═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝
OS/2 Warp users:
Click on the "ci2.inf" book from the appropriate folder in your Drives
object. You can also enter "view ci2.inf" at an OS/2 command prompt.
Both of these operations will load the OS/2 Warp graphical INF reader.
PC-DOS v7.0 users:
Enter "view ci2.inf" at the DOS prompt. This will load the PC-DOS
graphical INF reader.
PC-DOS (prior to v7.0) and MS-DOS users:
If you have MS-Windows installed on your computer, you should use the
MS-Windows viewer, which is graphical (see instructions below). If you
do not have MS-Windows, unzip the file VIEW01.ZIP included with this
software. It contains text mode DOS and OS/2 INF readers as well as
usage instructions. Although you will not be able to see the graphics
(figures, bitmaps, tables, etc.) contained in the documents you view
with these readers, the text itself will be present.
MS-Windows users:
Unzip the file IPFWIN.ZIP included with this software. It contains
a MS-Windows graphical INF reader. To use this reader, enter "win" at
the DOS prompt. After Program Manager loads, choose Run from the File
menu. Type the full path to XVIEW.EXE followed by "ci2.inf".
If you have any problems with the methods described above, feel
free to contact us for help. Thank you for your interest in this
software.
