  2. │ You NEED this sub-board.  You can't live without this sub-board.     │
  3. │ All of the menus, prompts, and help messages that are used by your   │
  4. │ Bulletron BBS are in the messages on this sub-board.  We're not      │
  5. │ going to explain what all these messages are in this help message.   │
  6. │ Your Sysop's Manual takes care of that.  You will usually want the s │
  7. │ access level for this sub-board to be high enough that only your     │
  8. │ system operator and his assistants can read them.  Make sure that    │
  9. │ message purge is set to zero.                                        │

  11. │ To list the names of all the menus, prompts and help messages, enter │
  12. │ "SF" at the main system prompt.  The "to" account for each message   │
  13. │ is its name.  This message is "to" a pseudo-account named "HELPUTL". │
  14. │ Usually, you will prepare all these messages off-line using your     │
  15. │ favorite text editor program, then use the BBUTIL utility to load    │
  16. │ the whole batch at once.  You can also change these messages         │
  17. │ individually without taking the system off-line by simply entering   │
  18. │ them like public or private messages on other sub-boards, or use     │
  19. │ "E@" to create them one at a time from disk files.                   │
