  2. │ Although your demo system can not utilize Bulletron's wide area      │
  3. │ networking functions, we set up this Network Source sub-board to     │
  4. │ show you an example of how it should be configured.  The demo system │
  5. │ can not perform wide area networking because there are many copies   │
  6. │ of the demo version in the world, all having the same serial number. │
  7. │ Without a unique serial number, it is impossible to build message    │
  8. │ routing tables.                                                      │
  9. │                                                                      │
  10. │ This is the sub-board that your users must select to enter private   │
  11. │ messages to be sent to users on remote network nodes.  Any of your   │
  12. │ echo conferences will send public messages to the entire world.      │
  13. │ Your Network Source sub-board allows them to send private messages   │
  14. │ to individual users.  The learn the account codes of the users on    │
  15. │ the remote systems by reading the echo conferences.  Returning       │
  16. │ replies are automatically placed on your Personal Mail sub-board.  A │
  17. │ message sent on your Personal Mail sub-board goe to a user on YOUR   │
  18. │ system.  A message sent on your Network Source sub-board goes to a   │
  19. │ user on ANOTHER system.  Once the mail has been originated, however, │
  20. │ it goes back and forth between the two personal mail sub-boards      │
  21. │ automatically.                                                       │

  23. │ We set the access level for this sub-board to 100 because we don't   │
  24. │ want non-subscribers generating messages that add to the long        │
  25. │ distance phone bill.                                                 │

  27. │ The message that you are reading right now is named "HELPSRC".  You  │
  28. │ can make a help message like this for each sub-board.  Name the      │
  29. │ files "HELPbbb.UTL", where "bbb" is the three character sub-board    │
  30. │ abbreviation.  Then use the BBUTIL program, function "H" to load all │
  31. │ the "*.UTL" files on your disk into messages on your "utilities"     │
  32. │ sub-board.                                                           │
