  2. Let me start out by saying that the memory fades. If I forgot one or five or
  3. twenty people's contributions while I was typing this, I humbly beg forgive-
  4. ness. For that matter, I'm sure I will think of several people while trying
  5. to get to sleep tonight.
  6.  
  7. Even knowing I'll make this errors of omission, I absolutely must plow on and
  8. give thanks to key players in the BinkleyTerm 2.60 effort:
  9.  
  10. One person really stands out: Bob Juge. While I was essentially on sabbatical,
  11. he just stayed on and on and on as BinkleyTerm help, calling me occasionally
  12. to ask the odd question. When I ramped back up last year he helped with
  13. the coordination and provided a point of contact for the documentation guys.
  14. Then, when I ran out of time and couldn't finish before having to get back
  15. into death-march mode at work, he stuck by and waited. His help down the
  16. final home stretch was critical, including doing the actual builds of the
  17. OS/2 version and personally coordinating the OS/2 testing.
  18.  
  19. Everyone else I'll try to handle more or less chronologically. Bear with me,
  20. this covers over 4 1/2 years. Many of you may not even have heard of these
  21. folk, it has been so long:

  23. Bill Andrus, for his long hours keeping the OS/2 version going, and his help
  24. in merging in Michael Buenter's work (more on that in a moment).
  25.  
  26. Peter Fitzsimmons, for some great tweaking of the OS/2 communications code
  27. and his MAXCOMM DLL for OS/2.
  28.  
  29. Tobias Burchhardt, for his implementation of EMSI for BinkleyTerm.
  30.  
  31. Ron Bemis, for the forcexit and extern spawn idea and initial implementation.
  32.  
  33. Scott Dudley, for miscellaneous help, including fixes to password checking.
  34.  
  35. Michael Buenter, for his work in Bink EE, much of which was incorporated
  36. into the main codebase. Also, for working with the Linux port effort while
  37. that was happening. His EE work included MAXFILES.IDX support, cost logging,
  38. 32-bit support, the zoomed outbound, and a bunch of other great stuff.

  40. Holger Schurig, for his cost logging work. It was his stuff that Michael
  41. contributed.
  42.  
  43. Bob Davis and Barrie Smith, for doing an incredible amount of work on the
  44. updated BinkleyTerm documentation that you will soon get to see!
  45.  
  46. Louis Lagendijk, for the collaboration that nearly led to a Linux port of
  47. the "mainline" code.
  48.  
  49. Ray Gwinn, for his SIOCOMM stuff on OS/2, as well as his cooperation and
  50. help in defining support for extended baud rates in FOSSIL.
  51.  
  52. Arjen Lentz, for his implementation of Hydra for DOS and OS/2 Bink.
  53.  
  54. Jim Dailey, for coming along and carrying the OS/2 effort for the past year.
  55. Also, adding some neat things like alternate number dialing, scrolling
  56. recent activity window, and other cool stuff.
  57.  
  58. Bryan Woodruff, for adding WinFOSSIL support.
  59.  
  60. All my beta testers, who had to weather my nonresponsiveness just like Bob.
