  1. ATTENSION to users of versions earlier than 1.98h!
  2.  
  3. Beginning from 1.98h the gate is compiled using IBM C++ Set. (Borland
  4. seems to be very buggy, alas.) Now you don't need C215.DLL for running
  5. U1, but, instead, U1_xxxx.DLL is needed, where xxxx is a version number
  6. (for example, 198H for version 1.98h). This DLL carries code that is shared
  7. by all or most of U1 executables. Please make sure that DLL is placed in
  8. one of the LIBPATH directories. Because of each U1 DLL is version-specific,
  9. you can mix different versions of gate in one computer.
