  3.      Welcome to the full release of AMU 3.00!

  5.      AMU 3.00 is distributed in three files: AMU300D.ZIP which contains
  6.      the 16bit DOS and 32bit DPMI version, AMU300P.ZIP which contains the
  7.      32bit OS/2 version, and AMU300W.ZIP which contains the 32bit 
  8.      WindowsNT/95 version.

  10.      This is a major upgrade and is not a drop-in replacement.  To upgrade
  11.      from a previous version of AMU, read the UPGRADE.DOC file as soon as you
  12.      have installed AMU.  If you are a registered user, you will need a new
  13.      keyfile.  Decompress the REGISTER.ZIP file and follow the instructions in
  14.      the UPGRADE.FRM file.  Note: If you already received an updated key
  15.      for 3.00/Gamma, you do *not* need another key.

  17.      To install AMU, simply run the INSTALL.EXE program from the DOS package,
  18.      INSTALL2.EXE from the OS/2 package, or INSTALLW.EXE from the Windows
  19.      package.  This will unpack the necessary files to your hard drive.  This
  20.      archive was compressed using Pkzip 2.04g with AV verification.  After you
  21.      unzipped this package, you should have seen:

  26.      If you do not see this, the files may have been damaged or tampered
  27.      with, and you should pick up a new copy from my system.  I am in the
  28.      FidoNet nodelist as 1:261/1108, and my BBS numbers are 1-410-974-9305
  29.      and 1-410-269-5117.  Again, this is a major upgrade and represents many
  30.      months of very hard work by myself and the Beta team.  Please take the
  31.      time to read the WHATSNEW.300 file if you are upgrading from a previous
  32.      version, or to read the documentation if you are a new AMU user.  If you
  33.      like AMU, please register to show your support for the shareware concept
  34.      and to ensure further development of AMU.
