▒▒▒ AFAN v1.82 - Advanced File Area Navigator - (c) 1996 by CliP-Soft ▒▒▒▒
────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
Changed a few little things in v1.82, added error handling routines,
changed the internal selecting routine and some other stuff which I can't
remember :)
It's still freeware till v1.90, after that it will be time limited
shareware, please send me your opinions about the program, without any
comments, suggestions, hate mail or whatever I will stop continue
developing and extending this program.

▒▒▒ AFAN v1.81 - Advanced File Area Navigator - (c) 1996 by CliP-Soft ▒▒▒▒

Afan v1.81 is an update for Afan v1.80 just replace AfanA.Erx / AfanG.Erx
with the new versions. Btw... don't forget to delete the contents of the
file directory '\Adept\Afan\Userinfo' because these files are not longer
used by Afan v1.81 (read section What's new in v1.81).
What's new in v1.81?
--------------------
The Afan UserInfo files are not any longer based on the UserID, but on the
Real User Name, because running Adepts 'Unuke.exe' would 'break' Afan ( it
won't do any serious thing to your setup) because the UserInfo Files based
on the UserID's where not up to date any longer.
Found an incorrect call 'Call SysFileDelete SaveFileName' which caused no
problems in AFAN but wasn't correctly either (bug or undocumented feature
in OS/2 REXX ?) it's now changed to 'Call SysFileDelete(SaveFileName)' :)
Found a little thingy in the sources, the filename 'NoActive.Asc/Ans' was
still hardcoded, I forgot to remove some description markers /* */ so that
the hardcoded filename was used, you can now name the 'NoActive.Asc/Ans'
to whatever you like it to call.
When an user selected a group and his/her security level Sec1 or Sec2 was
too low, or his/her age was too low to access the FileGroup, he or she was
dropped back to the FileMenu. Afan will now put the user back to the group
selection menu and let them choose a FileGroup again.
Found a few typo's in the logstrings..: 'to young' and 'to low' is changed
to 'too young' and 'too low', hell it was my weird Dutch accent again :-)
Changed the F-Areas.Cmd (to make the allareas list called FgroupA.Asc), so
that it will delete an an existing old FgroupA.Asc first before writting a
new version out.
Updated the Afan documentation and whats.New and corrected some typo's.

Notice that Afan v1.80 is a total rewrite, all previous and know bugs are
fixed, many new options are included, the Afan.Cfg and used directory's
are also changed .. so please read the AfanInfo.Doc and use the example
Afan.Cfg called 'Sample.Cfg' to setup Afan over again!
Afan v1.80 is faster then ever before, more extended, great for multi-line
systems (used another methode to access the external files) and as far as
I know really 100% bugfree :)
Next versions will follow in a more rapidly tempo.. also look for the next
versions Afan-Lite and Aman-Lite, which will be released on of these days.
