  2. If you find that the first time you run AdeptXBBS and it beeps twice and
  3. then returns you to the command prompt you might want to try the following
  4. in order to see if it fixes the problem.

  6. There is a known bug in the event loader that can cause adeptxbbs to not
  7. load properly on a new install.
  8.  
  9. Go into your \adept\events sub-directory
  10.  
  11. make a temp sub-directory.
  12.  
  13. MD TEMP
  14.  
  15. Move all the files into that temp sub-directory
  16.  
  17. MOVE * Temp
  18.  
  19. then run AdeptXBBS again, and it should come up without any problems.

  21. Sorry for the inconvience, we'll try to have this fixed in the next
  22. version of AdeptXBBS.
