  1. This is a list of the files included in this archive.

  3. Filename.Ext  Description
  4. ============  ===========
  5. KITTEN.EXE    This is the "normal" version of the new Kitten BBS system,
  6.               which employs overlays and EMS to maximize available memory.  
  7.  
  8. KITTEN.DOC    This is the manual for Kitten, describing how to install and 
  9.               configure her.  It includes a detailed discussion of the two 
  10.               sample setups.  
  11.  
  12. REVISION.DOC  This file contains a brief summary of what has changed in
  13.               the latest version of Kitten.
  14.  
  15. KUCONV.EXE    This is a user file conversion program.  If you presently 
  16.               have a Kitten system using an older version of Kitten (prior 
  17.               to 1991), you should run this program ONCE to convert your 
  18.               user file to the new format.  
  19.  
  20. RELAY         This is the first sample setup, "SEAnet Relay".  This 
  21.               demonstrates a simple system for remote system access.  This 
  22.               is the sort of system you would use if you need some BBS-type 
  23.               capability, but you don't need a full blown BBS.  
  24.  
  25. FUNHOUSE      This is the second sample setup, "Irene's Funhouse".  This 
  26.               demonstrates a complete BBS with mail, file areas, and on-
  27.               line games.  
  28.  
  29. SEABOARD      This is the third sample setup, "SEAboard".  This is a
  30.               complete BBS with examples of many sorts of things you might
  31.               wish to do.  It is not described in the KITTEN docs, but the
  32.               files contain copious comments describing what is going on.
  33.  
  34. EILEEN.ARC    This contains the EILEEN program as modified to work with
  35.               Kitten, along with her documentation and a sample survey.
  36.               This provides a method for running a user registration system
  37.               on a Kitten BBS.
