MakFList version 1.0 for OS/2 Maximus
By William Herrera, 1:307/18
Version 1.0 dated September 9, 1992
MakFList is a tool for Maximus users to allow the generation of a overall
FILES.BBS utility from the many individual FILES.BBS utilities Maximus
keeps in each file directory.
The 32-bit OS/2 version of MakFList is called MakFLis2.
Files needed in the directory in which MakFList resides:
1. Makflist.Hdr
This is the text file MakFList will place at the beginning
of the file generated. Generally, this is a banner type file containing
the name of the BBS, addresses, etc.
2. Makflist.Cfg
This is the text file MakFList uses to determine the directories in which
it looks for the FILES.BBS file for that directory area. These are the same
directories processed by the Maximus FB.EXE (FBP.EXE for OS/2).
The format required for Makflist.cfg is simply the pathname of each directory
(without the file name itself) where the FILES.BBS for each area resides.
For example, if the Maximus file directories NEW and BBS are in
subdirectories of C:\MAX\FILEAREA, the Makflist.cfg file would look like
C:\MAX\FILEAREA\BBS
C:\MAX\FILEAREA\NEW
The output file generated by Makflist.cfg is called Makflist.bbs. This file
will be overwritten with each run of MakFList.
