  3.  Czar Wars Bulletin Board System Demo Package

  5.  This software is provided as is with no warranty of any kind, either
  6.  expressed or implied.  Fitness for a particular purpose is explicitly NOT
  7.  warrantied.
  8.  
  9.  This is a full implementation of the Czar Wars BBS less the advanced map
  10.  file.  It may be used for running a public or private game, either stand-
  11.  alone or under another BBS as a 'DOOR',  as well as for demonstrating the
  12.  software.
  13.  
  14.  The only restrictions to free distribution and use of this software are as
  15.  follows:
  16.     
  17.     1.  It must ALWAYS be distributed in its original, UNALTERED form.
  18.     
  19.     2.  No fee may be charged for the copying or distribution of this
  20.         software.
  21.     
  22.     3.  No fee shall be charged to users for access to a BBS running this
  23.         software as the main BBS or as a DOOR except as follows:
  24.         
  25.         You may run this system for up to 60 days as a DOOR under an
  26.         existing BBS where access fees are charged as long as you do not
  27.         charge a specific access fee to use Czar Wars or 'sell' Class 'A'
  28.         ships or other considerations within the Czar Wars environment.
  29.         
  30.         (This set of restrictions does not apply to registered copies of
  31.         this software - specifically, there is no restriction on charging
  32.         access fees, etc)

  34.  To register this package:
  35.  
  36.     1.  Send $28 to the address below.  (Those who have registered the DOS
  37.         version may register the OS/2 version for $14 and vice versa).
  38.     
  39.     2.  Include your real name as you want it to appear in the initial
  40.         hello screen (where this version says "UNREGISTERED Copy!").
  41.     
  42.     3.  Include your mailing address (preferably not a Post Office Box).
  43.     
  44.     4.  Include the media size (5.25", 3.5") you would like your registered
  45.         copy sent on.
  46.         
  47.     5.  Optionally, you may want to include your BBS number, name, and
  48.         connection information.
  49.     
  50.  Upon receipt of the above, a registered copy of the latest release of Czar
  51.  Wars will be mailed to you.  Information will be included explaining how to
  52.  automatically register future versions of Czar Wars as they become available.
  53.  You can also register on "The Home of Czar Wars" and "The Parkway" BBS
  54.  systems for Sysop support.  "The Home of Czar Wars" will provide updates
  55.  and technical support for the DOS version of Czar Wars, while "The Parkway"
  56.  will provide the same services for the OS/2 version.
