  3. Create this directory tree:
  4. \bink
  5. \bink\Inbound
  6. \bink\Mail
  7. \bink\Nodelist
  8. \bink\Os2
  9. \bink\Os2BBS
  10. \bink\Os2LAN
  11. \bink\Os2Prog
  12. \bink\Outbound
  13. \Max\Squish

  15. It should not matter what drive you use (c: is not referenced in the batch
  16. files).

  18. Unzip BINK.ZIP into \Bink
  19. Unzip NODELIST.ZIP into \Bink\Nodelist
  20. Unzip SQUISH.ZIP into \Max\Squish
  21.  
  22. Here is a list of all the files in the bink ZIP file:

  24. ARC.EXE      SEA's archive utility -- used by mail system
  25. ARC2.EXE     same program different name
  26. areas.bbs    Lists all of your message areas
  27. bbs.cmd      Use this to run Binkleyterm
  28. BBS.ICO      icon for above
  29. binkley.cfg  main configuration file for binkleyterm
  30. binkley.evt  event file for Binkleyterm
  31. binkley.lng  compiled language file -- generated by btlngp from english.txt
  32. Binkley.Prm  generated Bink parameters
  33. bink_250.doc docs
  34. btctlp.exe   generated MAIL.SYS (and others?) - you must run this after reconfiguring your system
  35. btlngp.exe   language file compiler - generates binkley.lng from english.txt

  38. compress.cmd use this to compress your message bases
  39. config.dog   necessary for some mail utilities -- text file, holds you address, etc.

  64. edit Binkley.CFG and set:
  65.    System

  84. Edit \Max\Squish\Squish.Cfg and set:

  88. When all this is installed, switch to the \Bink directory and run
  89. BTCTLP.  This should create a new MAIL.SYS file.

  91. Switch to the \Bink\Nodelist directory. Move PARSELST.CFG from the \Bink
  92. directory into the \Bink\Nodelist directory (Make sure that \Bink is in your
  93. path -- do this with a "set path=c:\bink;%path%") Run Parselst.  This
  94. will create the nodelist files you need.

  96. Move the three .DLL files from the \Bink directory to somewhere in your
  97. LIBPATH.

  99. You should be all done.  Switch to c:\Bink and run BBS.cmd
