% This file contains sample announcements (currently being used
% on my system). You are free to edit the existing announcements
% or add your own. The only limitation is the line length 72
% characters, and the number of lines 5. The number of lines can
% be increased within the ANNOUNCE.CTL file. Also, in the CTL file
% are values for colors, screen position and output filenames.
%
% Lines beginning with a "%" are considered comments, and, are
% also used within the ANNOUNCE.KSL file to indicate the beginning
% and end of the message. ANNOUNCE.EXE will read this file and,
% based on the number generated by random, select the message which
% coorespondes positionally. If the number is too large compared to
% the number of messages you've placed in this file, a calculation
% takes place to maintain the random choice within the confines of
% your message file.

the tech. informed me that the chip does exist and should be available
by late in the 1st quarter of 1991. Imagine, a 386 chip in your 286..

how fast a particular machine is in terms of Mhz. Keep in mind that
Mhz is only one factor in the overall performance equation. You can
have a screamingly fast processor. However, if you do not have the
processor to support it, you will encounter slower processing. :-)
