  5. This release of BackMaster for OS/2 includes the following features:
  6.  
  7.   - New Presentation Manager application icon objects for quick and
  8.     easy starting of BackMaster utilities and functions.
  9.  
  10.   - Drag & drop support for custom colors, text and bitmaps.
  11.  
  12.   - Icon Speedbar for common actions like backups, restores, etc.
  13.  
  14.   - Context-sensitive help on most objects and keywords and Icon
  15.     Speedbar Bubble Help Captions for all icon buttons.
  16.  
  17.   - Easy access to all configuration options via the Settings notebook
  18.     by choosing the Options|Configuration Settings menu commands
  19.     or by using the new Speedbar's configuration icon button.
  20.  
  21.   - New "Test" feature to detect installed tape drive devices.
  22.  
  23.   - New "Auto" speed feature for optimization, enhanced performance, 
  24.     and more reliability.
  25.  
  26.   - Updated "Create Disaster Recovery Diskettes" utility program
  27.     that includes support for all versions of OS/2 v2.1 or higher.

  29. BackMaster 3.0 - Supported Tape Devices

  31. BackMaster 3.0 supports many of the new tape drives from the 
  32. leading suppliers, including, Aiwa, Exabyte, Hewlett-Packard, 
  33. Iomega, MicroSolutions, Pertec Memories, Seagate,  Sony, 
  34. Tandberg Data, and Tecmar Technologies. 
  35.  
  36. BackMaster 3.0 is the only OS/2 software supporting the Iomega 
  37. Ditto 2GB and the Sony StorStation 2GB tape drives. 
  38.  
  39. Other QIC floppy/parallel tape devices may also be fully 
  40. supported but not listed below, the device may not have not 
  41. been available for testing at the time this software was released.
