  3. 1. Programs purpose
  4.  
  5. This program packages consists of GenPatch which is
  6. for the making of patchfiles and DoPatch which is for
  7. applying those patchfiles.
  8.  
  9. It's available for DOS/Windows3.1, Windows 95/NT, OS/2
  10. and Linux.
  11.  
  12. 2. Installation
  13.  
  14. Very easy. Simply extract the archive and include the
  15. directory in your path.
  16.  
  17. For DOS/Windows this is: (if you extracted BinPatch to
  18. c:\binpatch)
  19.  
  20. PATH %PATH%;c:\binpatch
  21.  
  22. To have this permanent add it to the autoexec.bat file.

  24. 3. Status

  26. The program is shareware, but free for non-commercial
  27. usage. Note that patching shareware is commercial and
  28. only allowed for the authors themselves. Please refer
  29. to the licence found in readme.htm in this archive.

  33. Please spread the program as far as you can. It's free
  34. for non-commercial, but maybe you'd like to support me
  35. in that. Please don't change anything in it without
