  1. Welcome to Xitami, a fast multithreaded webserver that runs on Windows 95,
  2. Windows NT, and UNIX systems.  Copyright (c) 1991-1996 iMatix.  This Program
  3. is free software; you can redistribute it and/or modify it under the terms
  4. of the SMT License Agreement as provided in the file LICENSE.TXT.  This
  5. software is distributed in the hope that it will be useful, but without any
  6. warranty.

  8. This kit contains a beta-test version of Xitami for OS/2.  You need the EMX
  9. environment, version 0.9c or later.  This is available from many places.

  11. To run Xitami, run the command 'xitami'.
  12.  
  13. Now, launch the browser of your choice and connect to port 80.  If you
  14. did this right, you will see the Xitami Welcome page.  Please test out the
  15. various functions, and read the Xitami documentation pages.

  17. To install Xitami, copy the files in this directory, plus the webpages and
  18. cgi-bin directories to any location.  Run Xitami from that location.
