  1. Some of the changes to ATP in this 1.50 release are:

  3. o Full termcap support for non-ansi terminals. 
  4. o No limits on message size for any version. 
  5. o Replies can now be directed to any message area with `r' command. 
  6. o New `x' command for cross posting. 
  7. o Improved `r' and `c' commands for re-directing replies to different areas.
  8. o Use ^C to cancel `find' search.  
  9. o Perl script `atpdiag' to help diagnose proper configuration.  
  10. o Rot-13 message shroud/unshroud added. 
  11. o Tagline steal/add (contributed by Tom Glaab). 
  12. o Tagline `tag on/off' commands added. 
  13. o German language support (contributed by Stefan Reinauer). 
  14. o Ready-to-print PostScript format documentation added.
  15. o MS_DOS 16 bit version can swap itself out when spawning sub-shell.
  16. o MS_DOS versions now DESQview aware. 
  17. o GNU autoconf provides configure script for building ATP on Unix systems.
  18. o Can be built with ANSI C, C++, and traditional Kernighan & Ritchie C.
  19. o Code re-organized with greater modularity and strong type checking in mind.
