  4. Unless you got this ZIP directly from my ViRC page
  5. (http://www.megalith.co.uk/virc), it is probably already out-of-date!! I
  6. suggest you visit my page immediately to download the latest version.

  8. 0.91a fixes two bugs: a minor bug in the menu and popup editor, which allowed
  9. ViRCScript code to be entered when no menu item was selected, and a major bug
  10. preventing it from working properly under Windows NT. No new features have been
  11. added over 0.91.
  12.  
  13. 0.92 fixes some bugs in the video conferencing and adds the INTERNALCALL
  14. mechanism and an improved TSockets control to ObjectViRCScript (see
  15. OBJECTVS.TXT), and also fixes a bug where sound files beginning with ! were not
  16. played properly when requested by an incoming /ctcp sound request. Severe
  17. memory leak bug with NT 4 also fixed. Several new ViRCScript functions,
  18. commands, and ObjectViRCScript objects added.

  20. 0.92a includes the updated OBJECTVS.TXT for 0.92 ;) and fixes a bug with the
  21. DDE command and function.

  23. 0.92b fixes the mIRC import function (it works now ;), makes sure the events
  24. are fired correctly when you do /links, fixes a minor nick completion bug,
  25. fixes a repaint bug in the event and menu editors, fixes a major script loading
  26. bug (introduced in 0.92) that prevented scripts using RehashRegistry from
  27. loading correctly, and speeds up the joining of large channels (with 100+
  28. people), DNS can now be called as a function to perform a DNS lookup. Fixes a
  29. minor bug with the GETSETTING, READREGISTRY and WRITEREGISTRY functions. A few
  30. other minor cosmetic bugs fixed.

  52. VIRC96.HLP.

  54. FYI, ViRC '96 is freeware. This means that you will _not_ be possessed by
  55. demons, should you fail to pay me anything, unlike shareware software, like

  68. that's beyond my control, like my mail server crashes, which has happened
  69. before, or I'm away on vacation), although please read the help file first to
