  23. For a comprehensive, step-by-step guide to Calypso, 
  24. read the Calypso Guide. The Guide can be found in 
  25. the Help menu.

  29. 'What's This?' Help
  30.  
  31. To learn what action a command performs or how a button 
  32. or portion of the screen works, use 'What's This?' Help. 
  33. To activate 'What's This?,' click the toolbar icon 
  34. showing an arrow and question mark. The mouse pointer 
  35. will change to an arrow and question mark. Move the 
  36. pointer to the item on the screen about which you want 
  37. more information. Click the item. A box appears 
  38. containing information about that item. Click the mouse 
  39. again to return the pointer to its normal appearance and 
  40. operation.

  42. Hint: Right-click on the 'What's This?' text to see a 
  43. shortcut menu.

  47. Find and Index

  49. To read about a particular topic, use the Find or Index 
  50. tabs in the online Help.

  52. The Find tab is used to search for specific words or 
  53. phrases. To use Find, click Help, Calypso Guide, then 
  54. Find. Type a word or phrase in the top text box.
  55.  
  56. The Index tab enables you to search for a specific word 
  57. by typing the first few letters of the word. To use 
  58. Index, click Help, Calypso Guide, then Index. Begin 
  59. typing a word in the top text box.

  65. If you have trouble installing, configuring, or using 
  66. Calypso, please refer to the Calypso Frequently Asked 
  67. Questions (FAQ) file on MCS' World Wide Web page. The

  70. This file includes troubleshooting information as well 
  71. as common problems other users have experienced while 
  72. working with Calypso. If you cannot find help in the 
  73. FAQ file, send an e-mail to technical support. To do this, 
  74. open the Help menu and click E-mail Technical Support.

  78. Converting a Mailbox
  79.  
  80. If you would like to open a mailbox created with a 
  81. previous version of Calypso, you will be required to 
  82. convert and possibly rename the mailbox. You can open a 
  83. mailbox created with a previous version of Calypso by 
  84. using the Open command in the Mailbox menu or by using 
  85. either Open a Mailbox or Browse for a Mailbox in the 
  86. Welcome panel.

  88. When you convert a mailbox, all the information stored 
  89. in the previous version is transferred to the new 
  90. version.

  92. 1. When you open the mailbox, you will be prompted for 
  93.    your mailbox password if you have one. Type the 
  94.    password, then click OK.

  96. 2. The Mailbox Conversion dialog box appears. Change the 
  97.    mailbox name in the New Name text box.
  98.  
  99. 3. Select the check box if you want to delete the 
  100.    previous version of the mailbox after it has been 
  101.    converted. Clear the check box if you want to
  102.    continue using the mailbox with a previous version of 
  103.    Calypso.

  105. 4. Clear the check box if you do not want to create a shortcut
  106.    to this mailbox on your desktop.

  108. 5. Click OK to convert the mailbox.

  112. Importing Address Books or Files
  113.  
  114. Calypso's import function lets you import an existing 
  115. address book or address file without retyping every e-mail 
  116. address.

  118. 1. In the Mailbox menu, click Address Book, then click 
  119.    Import. This opens the Address Book Import dialog box.
  120.  
  121. 2. Click the address book format to import.
  122.  
  123. 3. Click OK.
  124.  
  125. 4. Depending on the type of file you chose, do one of 
  126.    the following:

  128. * If you chose a Calypso or Eudora file, select the file 
  129.   from the Open dialog box and click Open.
  130.  
  131. * If you chose a Delimited file, select the file from 
  132.   the Open dialog box and click Open. The Delimited File 
  133.   Import dialog box opens with the file name filled in. 
  134.   To select the delimiter, click the down arrow, then 
  135.   click the delimiter used for this file. Click OK.

  137.   Note: Be sure each element in the imported delimited 
  138.   file corresponds to the order of Calypso's address 
  139.   elements.

  141. * If you chose a Microsoft Exchange or Netscape file, 
  142.   click the address book you want to import from the 
  143.   address book list. Click OK.

  145. 5. Calypso will import the address file. You can see 
  146.    which addresses are copied in the Calypso Import 
  147.    Status dialog box.

  149. 6. Click Close to finish.
