  3. The M.C. Escher's Legacy  CD-ROM contains 26 contributions 
  4. which extend articles in the book M.C. Escher's Legacy.  
  5. On this CD-ROM, we have provided all articles in PDF format 
  6. as well as some files with supplementary material such as 
  7. movie files.

  10. System requirements to play the CD-ROM

  29. To view the pdf files and movies, you need some additional 
  30. programs:
  31. - ADOBE Acrobat Reader for *.pdf
  32. - APPLE QuickTime Player for *.mov

  35. If you have recent versions of these programs installed on 
  36. your computer, you can start the CD-ROM by double-clicking 
  37. on the file START.pdf

  40. ADOBE Acrobat Reader version 5.x
  41. For your convenience we have provided ADOBE Acrobat Reader 
  42. version 5.x with search function which can be found in the 
  43. subdirectory \ACROBAT\win32 (version for Windows 95, 98 or 
  44. Windows NT, 2000) or \ACROBAT\Mac (version for Macintosh).
  45. To install these versions, double click on the respective 
  46. *.exe/Installer-file which starts an automatic installation 
  47. program.

  52. The Index can be found on the CD-ROM in the subdirectory 
  53. \Misc. Click on "INDEX.PDX" and press the OK button to confirm.

  57. For your convenience we have provided APPLE QuickTime 
  58. Player version 5.x which can be found in the subdirectory 
  59. \QUICKTIME\win32 (version for Windows 98or Windows NT, 2000)

  61. versions, double click on the respective *.exe/Installer-file
