CREATOR: Unicorn Lady (lromero@sdcoe.k12.ca.us)
TOTAL SIZE: Approximately 1.9MB uncompressed

Welcome to my theme about the sea. This theme includes a couple of extra icons, the Daniela
font, and logos. Most of the waves were taken from various collections I have and then edited
as necessary. I recorded the startup and exit waves from CDs then mixed in the background
sounds of seagulls and waves. The image used for the wallpaper was downloaded from somewhere
on the web some months ago and I long ago lost track of where I got it so cannot give credit
to its creator.
TO INSTALL THEME:
Assuming you are using WinZip to extract these files, the easiest way is to use the directory
listings specified within the zip file by selecting "Use Folder Names" when you extract the
files and making sure the "Extract To" location is C:\. The .Theme files will be extracted to
C:\Program Files\Plus!\Themes. All other files will be placed in C:\Program Files\Plus!
\Themes\The Sea. To extract to any other location, be sure "Use Folder Names" is NOT selected
and enter the desired location in "Extract To". I suggest the first method unless you have
your themes located elsewhere on your drive and know how to edit a "*.Theme" file to change the
directory location where it looks for the various elements.
TO INSTALL FONT:
1. AUTOMATICALLY
a. Double click on Install_Font.bat file. This will copy the Lucida Blackletter font into
your c:\windows\fonts directory. If your fonts are elsewhere, use manual install.
2. MANUALLY
a. Copy Daniela.ttf file to your fonts directory.
An animated startup logo and wait and shutdown logos are included with this theme.
TO INSTALL LOGOS:
1. AUTOMATICALLY
a. Double click on Install_Logos.bat file. This will work properly only if your hard
drive has NOT been compressed, as it automatically copies the logo.sys file to your
c:\ root directory.
b. NOTE: This will overwrite any existing logo files without prompting. If you don't
want to lose them, be sure to rename them or back them up in some other manner FIRST.
2. MANUALLY
a. Copy logo.sys file into the root drirectory of your hard drive. If your hard drive
is compressed (as mine is), it must be copied into the root directory of the "host"
drive (mine is "H" for example).
b. Copy the logos.sys and logow.sys files into your Windows directory.
The startup logo was animated using the XRX Logo Utility, which is available as shareware
through the XRX Home Page if you want to try it out. Logo screens can easily be changed to
match your theme using the Logo Manager Program, which is a ZDNet exclusive. It is the best
one of its kind I've found thus far...and it is FREE (not shareware). Even recognizes if
your hard drive is compressed and installs the logo.sys file on the proper host drive with
no prompting. No more manually copying logo files every time you change themes! All you
have to do to get this progrom is go to ZDNet's home page and register as a member.
These files may be distributed freely, so long as no modifications are made and no money is
ever charged for the theme or any of it's components.
If you use this theme, I'd love to hear what you think of it. If you experience any problems
using the theme, please let me know.
Hope you enjoy using this theme as you spend time relaxing and listening to the sounds of the
sea.
