  6. tw215doc.zip contains documentation for TextWin 2.15.
  7. You should find within it the following files:

  15. There are several optional executable binaries for TextWin.  Therefore,
  16. rather than including the documentation with each binary, the
  17. documentation is provided separately, to reduce your download time.

  20. Executable versions
  21. -------------------
  22.  
  23. Memory is becoming a problem for Ka9q.  TextWin is essentially a
  24. "bigger Ka9q", so memory is a severe problem for TextWin.

  26. There are now three executables available for download.
  27.  
  28.         Tinytw  is in tw215_1.zip     170k
  29.         Smalltw is in tw215_2.zip     188k
  30.         Bigtw   is in tw215_3.zip     192k
  31.  
  32. Tinytw is recommended for first time users.  The larger versions are on
  33. ftp.demon.co.uk in a different subdirectory to discourage users from
  34. downloading files they may not need.  You DO NOT REQUIRE the other
  35. versions, unless there are facilities missing from tinytw that you need.

  39. Source code for developers
  40. --------------------------

  42. Source code is in tw215src.zip (133k).  Only those files that are
  43. modified from Ka9q 2.15 are provided, so you will also need Ka9q source
  44. if you wish to compile it.  Borland C++ 3.1 is recommended.
