  5. Congratulations on your download of Virex for the PC, the comprehensive virus 
  6. prevention, detection and treatment utility for the IBM-PC and compatibles.

  8. Follow the simple steps below to install and operate Virex for the PC
  9. successfully on your computer.

  11. 1:      Read the REGISTER.DOC file to familiarize yourself with the licensing,
  12.         copyright, and registration terms.
  13.  
  14. 2:      Read the VIREXPC.DOC file for complete documentation on Virex for
  15.         the PC and how to install the product and successfully operate its
  16.         component parts, VIREX.COM and VPCSCAN.EXE.  Skip to the section "Using
  17.         the VPCSCAN Program" if you want to try out the scanner prior to
  18.         installation.

  20. 3:      Run the INSTALL program to install Virex for the PC to your C: drive
  21.         and automatically create your Inoculation file set. These files will
  22.         allow you to recover from almost any file or boot sector virus without
  23.         loss of information.

  25. 4:      Relax, knowing that your computer is now protected.
