  9.        Installation: If installing FROM a hard drive or high density 
  10.        floppy drive, simply place ALL files onto the hard drive or high 
  11.        density floppy drive and execute the command INSTALL. If 
  12.        installing FROM a low density floppy drive (360K format), place 
  13.        part one files on the first floppy and part 2 files on the 
  14.        second floppy. Then insert the part one floppy disk into the 
  15.        drive and execute the command INSTALL.

  17.        After installation, start program with either command: GO  or  PCL. 
  18.  
  19.        Space requirements: When installed TO a target hard drive PC-
  20.        Learn will require about one Meg of hard disk space. When 
  21.        installed TO target floppies PC-Learn requires 4 floppies.

  23.                              DETAILED DESCRIPTION

  25.        PC-LEARN is a training system which includes chapters on buying 
  26.        and using a computer, an entertaining history of computers, DOS 
  27.        lessons, hard disk drives and tech tips, and even telephone 
  28.        support numbers where you can call with your questions! It also 
  29.        includes information on word processing, a suggested reading 
  30.        list, software selection, computer clubs, batch files, 
  31.        spreadsheets, databases, and even a glossary! Other tutorials 
  32.        include using shareware for beginners and environmentally 
  33.        sensitive computing. New with this version is also a large
  34.        mailing list of national computer clubs which the computer
  35.        beginner can use to locate computer resources throughout America.
  36.        A perfect package for the first time computer user!

  38.        PC-LEARN runs on all IBM compatible PC's. PC-LEARN has been 
  39.        selected a recommended beginner's choice by 21 computer clubs 
  40.        and has been featured in two national computer magazines. PC-
  41.        LEARN is shareware. Program runs on ALL systems and does NOT 
  42.        require color or special graphics. A hard drive or high density 
  43.        floppy drive is recommended for this version, but program can 
  44.        also run from standard 360K drives.

  46.        Submitting a $25 registration fee to the author of PC-LEARN 
  47.        brings two VALUABLE bonus disks by mail plus latest program 
  48.        update.

  51.        or production software program which looks and operates like PC-
  52.        LEARN (high speed menus, ease of use, search features, printing, 
  53.        etc.), but contains your unique company data or tutorials, 
  54.        contact the author of this program. Your company name, address, 
  55.        logo or other information can be added. If you would like to 
  56.        reprint sections of PC-LEARN in your newsletter, community 
  57.        newspaper, BBS or other printed resource, please contact the 
  58.        author.

  60.        If you are new to computers you may not have heard the term 
  61.        SHAREWARE. PC-LEARN is shareware. This means a software 
  62.        programmer has prepared a software program which you are free to 
  63.        copy and share with others, the author encourages you to use and 
  64.        EVALUATE the program for up to 30 days subject to your possible 
  65.        payment of a final registration fee to continue full and legal 
  66.        use of the program.

  68.        If you received a copy of PC-LEARN with your new computer, you 
  69.        are essentially EVALUATING this program subject to your final 
  70.        purchase. You may print a registration form on your printer by 
  71.        selecting the "print registration form" option from the main 
  72.        menu. If you received this disk from a shareware distributor who 
  73.        charged $3 or $4 for a sample copy disk, you have only paid a 
  74.        distribution/handling fee for an evaluation disk of which NO 
  75.        PORTION goes to the author of the software.

  77.        The author of PC-LEARN can create a CUSTOMIZED COVER SCREEN with 
  78.        your store address and LOGO. Remember that since PC-LEARN will 
  79.        be copied by many people, your advertisement will be copied with 
  80.        it! PC-LEARN is thus both a tutorial and a marketing tool! 
  81.        Customized logos and cover screens are also available for 
  82.        computer clubs and are a wonderful way to boost membership and 
  83.        make new members feel good about your club's "personalized" copy 
  84.        of PC-LEARN. Ideal retail locations include computer stores, 
  85.        stores with magazine racks, book stores, convenience stores, 
  86.        electronics stores, small printing or copy shops, college 
  87.        bookstores, retirement facilities, and of course software

  90.                   INSTALLATION AND UNPACKING OF THIS PROGRAM

  92.        The main PC-LEARN package is stored in compressed files produced 
  93.        by the software program LHA written by Haruyasu Yoshizaki. 
  94.        Unpacking to a hard drive or high density floppy is recommended. 
  95.        Or you can install to floppy drives of the following sizes: 
  96.        360K, 720K, 1.2M, 1.44M.

  98.        Simply use the following command at the DOS prompt:   INSTALL
