  10. Cheat for Commander Keen 4 - The Secret Of The Oracle.

  13. The Story
  14. ─────────
  15. Billy Blaze is in his dad`s workshop playing with a radio when he recieves a
  16. secret message from the SHIKADI.It seems that those weird creatures are
  17. planning to conquer the Galaxy.Billy takes his Football helmet en transforms
  18. in Commander Keen.
  19. He steps in his rocket and travels to GNOSTICUS IV.That planet is inhabited
  20. by the Guardians of the Oracle.They own him a favour so he wants their help.
  21. When he arrives he finds a COUNCIL PAGE, which tells Keen that the 8 HIGH
  22. COUNCIL members are kidnapped and taken to the SHADOWLANDS.The council members
  23. are the only ones able to activate the orcacle, so the SHIKADI put them under
  24. good protection by weird creatures.
  25. Keen decides to save the 8 council members and to stop the SHIKADI`s plans.

  27. USEFULL NOTES
  28. ─────────────
  29. * Collect NEURAL STUNNERS...if you don`t you will run out of ammo !
  30.  
  31. * Collect the GEMS to open the doors.Each GEM has his own color wich
  32.   corresponts with the color of the slot at the door.
  33.  
  34. * To get an EXTRA life, just collect the LIFEWATE FLASKS.
  35.  
  36. * Don`t shoot the red Bouncers.Sometimes you need their help to reach high
  37.   places in the field.Just step onto them en jump.
  38.  
  39. * One of the most dangerous creatures is the DOPEFISH.To defeat him, just
  40.   collect as many as possible of SCHOOLFISH and try to pass him.You can`t
  41.   shoot at him.
  42.  
  43. * Doughnuts, icecreams and Jawbreakers cgive you a lot of points !
  44.  
  45. * The MAD MUSHROOM is another dangerous creature.Try to pass him, but do NOT
  46.   touch him !!
  47.  
  48. * In some fields PRINCESS LINDSEY is hidden behind a tree, just jump at tree.
  49.   When the princess is hidden in that tree, she will tell you some usefull
  50.   information.
  51.  
  52. * In MIRAGIA ( in the desert) a SWIMMING SUIT is hidden.Try to collect that
  53.   item.You need that one to swim in the water !
  54.  
  55. * There are a lot of hidden places.It ain`t difficult to find them because
  56.   they are hidden at places where you expect THEM !
  57.  
  58. THE CHEAT-keys
  59. ──────────────
  60. The cheat-modes are used by pressing the Functio-key and a normal key at
  61. the same time.This is the FULL list of all the cheat-codes (I hope)
  62. Run the Game with K4.EXE -NOWAIT
  63.  
  64. F10 and P  : This is used to pause the game.
  65. F10 and S  : To slow down the game.There are 2 speeds.
  66. F10 and E  : ends the current Level when you find that one to difficult.
  67. F10 and Y  : Shows all secret rooms in the field.
  68. F10 and W  : WARP-mode, go to a different level.
  69. F10 and T  : Gives information about the sprites of commander Keen.
  70. F10 and I  : Gives extre points, GEMS, guns and lives in a random order.
  71. F10 and D  : Play a demo of a level of your choice.NICE !
  72. F10 and G  : Activates the GOD-mode.You become Immortal.
  73. F10 and J  : This is the JUMP-mode.Jump to the sky with 1 jump.
  74. F10 and N  : NO CLIPPING, walk through walls and floors.This can be usefull
  75.              , but sometimes causes it you own death.With no clipping the
  76.              floors will fade away and maybe theres some LAVA under the floor !
  77. F10 and C  : Nice mode..It shows how much creature you killed and how much there
  78.              remain.
  79. F10 and V  : This gives you 1 to 8 extra VBL`s.
  80. F10 and B  : Changes the border color.
  81. F10 and M  : Gives information about hte used and available memory.

  83. F9         : Anti-Boss-mode, this one simulates the dos-prompt. To return press
  84.              ESCAPE.
  85. F1         : Information about the game and the story.
  86. F2 to F7   : Back to the Main menu with save and restore commands.
