  5. 1)  Winamp v1.6 beta or newer
  6. 2)  Put vis_spk.dll (plugin) in your winamp directory
  7.  
  8. INFORMATION:
  9.  
  10. Four Modules
  11.  
  12. 1) Digital
  13.     
  14.     This module is called digital because it displays the volume level
  15. in 7 steps. The closer to the max it gets, the closer to red the colour gets.
  16.     
  17. 2) Analog
  18.  
  19.     This module is similar to digital, except it displays the volume
  20. level in an 'analog' form, (sortof), without any steps (very small ones).
  21.     
  22. 3) Woofer and Tweeter
  23.  
  24.     This module displays the upper and lower halfs of the frequency
  25. spectrum separately.  The lower half is displayed in the lower circle,
  26. and the upper half inthe upper circle.

  28. 4) Glow
  29.  
  30.     This module is very CPU intensive, and not very optimised, and 
  31. may well have some bugs, but I wanted to include it anyways!

  33. CONFIGURATION:
  34.  
  35. Config can be entered from the plugin popup menu (right click), or through the
  36. winamp plugin preferences 'configure' button.
  37.  
  38. Falloff Rate - how quickly the VU Meter falls back to zero with no sound
  39. Amplitude - how sensitive the VU meter is, or how high it gets
  40. Calculation Method - choose between Logaritmic or Linear, Linear requires amplitude to be quite high.

  43. KNOWN BUGS:

  45. The left window of the Glow module appears squigly in double size mode in my computer.
