  1. OVERVIEW:

  3. This WAD file was built from scratch using DEU 5.0.  It takes the place
  4. of Episode 2 Mission 3 (I like the music).
  5.  
  6. You may notice couple of "errors" in the textures, but keep in mind that 
  7. this was my first attempt at a DOOM level, and it took many, 
  8. many hours not only to complete, but to learn how to use the editor as 
  9. well.
  10.  
  11. ABOUT THE LEVEL:
  12.  
  13. You may come to a point or two where you think that I screwed up the level
  14. and didn't give you a way out.  Well, if being there doesn't kill you,
  15. there is a way.
  16.  
  17. Also, taking the most "logical" next path is not always the best route.
  18. You may miss out on something.
  19.  
  20. The level is really not complicated...it took me about 20 minutes to 
  21. complete WITHOUT CHEAT CODES!  Do yourself a favor and complete it without 
  22. them...it's much more fun that way!

  24. FIRING IT UP:

  26. Asssuming you've unzipped the file to your DOOM directory, here's the 
  27. command:

  29.       DOOM -DEVPARM -FILE RSE2L3.WAD -WARP 2 3

  31. DISCLAIMER:
  32.  
  33. I've had problems running this level with heavily modified DOOM.WAD files
  34. (i.e. sound and graphics changes).  If you have problems, run it with
  35. the original DOOM.WAD file.

  37. If, while running the above, you hard drive crashes, your power supply 
  38. burns out, your monitor explodes, your keyboard melts, etc., IT AIN'T MY
  39. FAULT!
