  1. Doom requires that you have at least 4 meg of memory on your machine.
  2. In addition, you must have aproximately 580K free memory out of the
  3. first 640K of memory on your machine.  The more devices, and drivers
  4. that are loaded into your system, the more it decreases this first
  5. 640K of memory.  If you don't have 580K free, DOOM will not work !!

  7. IMPORTANT POINTS !!         ( Hit ESC to exit )

  9. 1.      These add ons require the REGISTERED version of DOOM to use.  Many
  10.     such as level editors and other utilities may be used without the
  11.     DOOM program but you WILL need the full DOOM for this CD to be
  12.     enjoyed to its fullest.

  14. 2.      To run the WAD add on files, copy them to your DOOM directory.
  15.     To run them, type: 
  16.               DOOM -FILE NAME.WAD  Where NAME is the WAD filename
  17.  
  18. 3.      WE DO NOT AND WILL NOT OFFER CUSTOMER SERVICE on running individual 
  19.     levels or add ons for DOOM, there are too many !!  ID software will
  20.     not offer service on modified versions of DOOM or ADD ons so DO NOT
  21.     CALL THEM !!  For the extra levels, you are on your own.
