  1. Welcome to NOFEAR, a new level for your DOOM files.  NOFEAR is an add-on for 
  2. the game DOOM, so if you don't have it, you can't play this episode.  In 
  3. other words, GET DOOM!!!!!   You'll love it!

  5. To play the NOFEAR episode, load the files contained in NOFEAR.zip into your
  6. DOOM directory.  Then use PKUNZIP to unzip the files.  
  7. To start the episode, type: 
  8.  
  9. "doom -file nofear.wad" 
  10.  
  11. NOTE:  DO NOT type the quotation marks and be sure to type the spaces!
  12.  
  13. You will get a warning that the files are not the original files, this is
  14. normal.  Also, the level is still called "Knee Deep in the Dead" during the
  15. game, but it will play as NOFEAR.

  17. If you want to play the orginal version of DOOM, simply type "DOOM" as 
  18. before.

  20. Thanks to whoever programed NOFEAR, it is a masterpiece!  Also thanks to 
  21. ID software and the DOOM team for coming up with the original engine.  If
  22. you enjoy playing DOOM and/or NOFEAR and haven't registered it, please do so.

  25. I tested this level on the registered version of DOOM 1.2.... I'm assuming
  26. it works with the shareware version, but I haven't tried it.  GOOD LUCK
