Explanations (keep these lowercase, keep above uppercase):
init1=<string> modem init string #1. Ex. INIT1=AT &F (USR Sportster 14.4i)
init2=<string> modem init string #2. Ex. INIT2=AT &K0 &M0 &N6
hangup=<string>modem hangup string. Ex. HANGUP=AT H0
baud=n 9600 (default), 14400, 19200, 38400, 57600, 115200 (16550 only).
altbaud=n Alternate baud which can be chosen at startup. Ex. ALTBAUD=14400
altbaudinit=<string> Modem baud command for 'altbaud'. Ex. ALTBAUDINIT=AT &N8
com=n com port number n. (default = 1)
irq=n irq number n. (default set according to com port used)
port=0xn com port hex address n. (default set according to com port used)
vector=0xn irq hex vector number n (default found automatically in 0x60-66)
nodropdtr=n set n = 1 to disable dropping dtr when exiting.
episode=n episode number n. (default = 1)
map=n map number n. (default = 1)
deathmatch=n set n = 1 for deathmatch mode. (default = 0 = cooperative)
altdeath=n set n = 1 for DeathMatch 2.0 (default = 0)

loadgame=n load saved game number n (0 - 5).
devparm=<string> arg(s) to pass with -devparm. Ex. DEVPARM=-record file1
skill=n skill level n. (default = 3)
dial=n number for modem to dial.
wadname=<string> wadfile name. Ex. WADNAME=wadfile.wad (1 file only)
directory=<string> wadfile directory. Ex. DIRECTORY=wads or DIRECTORY=c:\wads
doomexe=<string> name of doom executable without ".exe". (default = DOOM)
doomver1_2=n set n = 1 for DOOM v1.2 and below. (default = 0)
config=<string> alternate doom config file. Ex. CONFIG=c:\new.cfg
player=n player number n (0/1). (default = 0) use 1 on slower computer
pulsedial=n set n = 1 for pulse dial. (default = 0 = tone dial)
name=<string> phonebook name for number on next line.
number=n phonebook number for previous name.
* Values can be left empty. Ex. CONFIG=
* 8250 UARTs do not support 115200 baud.
* Unlimited number of phonebook name/number entries -- Just add more.
* Any parameter can be passed on to Doom by using the DEVPARM string in
either the SER5.CFG file or the Configure feature at runtime, whether it
requires -devparm or not. See the list of other parameters in the Doom
FAQ which is included in the latest version of Doom, and on the ftp sites.
